ProphetX is a sweepstakes betting exchange available in over 38 U.S. states.

They're currently offering our readers a 20% deposit match up to $100. You just have to use ProphetX promo code ODDSASSIST to unlock it.

The platform runs peer-to-peer wagering, meaning users go head-to-head instead of betting against the house. Users post predictions, and players can take the other side.

When liquidity is strong, that matching process happens instantly. When there isn’t enough action, your pick sits in the market until someone decides to match it, which isn't guaranteed.

ProphetX doesn’t charge vig like standard sportsbooks. Instead, they take a 2% commission on net winnings in each market.

Because of that fee structure, their odds are almost always better than what you’ll see at most traditional sportsbooks like FanDuel and DraftKings.

ProphetX home mobile

Since ProphetX uses the sweepstakes model, the platform relies on virtual currency. Prophet Points are just for fun, while Prophet Cash can be redeemed for real cash prizes.

I’m a big fan of the ProphetX user experience. The app is fast and welcoming for beginners, with tutorials and how-tos everywhere to help you get settled.

I also love that they’ve packed in a bunch of props across major leagues, though often you'll find little liquidity on those markets, meaning you may not be able to get certain bets in

I’d also like to see them give out more free Prophet Cash. A daily bonus like Novig offers would go a long way, especially for new players testing out the app.

ProphetX offers a 20% deposit match bonus up to $100 for new users. Use ProphetX promo code ODDSASSIST to secure the offer.

The rest of this ProphetX review goes over how the sign-up bonus works, odds, market depth, and everything else you need to decide if it's right for you.

How ProphetX Works

ProphetX is a peer-to-peer exchange that works much like prediction markets do.

Every bet is created and matched directly between users using virtual sweepstakes currency.

The app provides the trading infrastructure, verifies outcomes, and holds the funds until the bet is settled.

The key difference between ProphetX and traditional sportsbooks is that the pricing itself is entirely user-driven.

Let’s say you’re checking out the Raiders vs. Eagles matchup.

You see the Eagles spread at -12.5 at -105 odds, with 765.81 in liquidity under that price.

ProphetX play slip mobile

That number shows exactly how much you can stake and how much you'll be matched at that price point.

If you make a $10 Prophet Cash play, the system matches on the spot because someone has already posted enough liquidity to take the other side.

But let’s say you’re hunting for -104 instead.

In that case, tap the + button to increase the odds. ProphetX posts your new price to the market, and it remains a pending offer until another user matches it.

Below, I break down exactly how adjusting plus and minus odds works, including how prices move as you change the number and what that means for your risk and payout.

Adjusting Odds With + and –

ProphetX doesn’t ask you to type in your own odds the way exchanges like Novig or Betfair do.

You never type in a custom price. Instead, every market shows current user-generated odds, and you shape your offer by tapping the + or – buttons.

When you want better value or want to get matched faster, you use:

  • + to request better odds. When you tap the plus button, you nudge the odds higher and ask the market for a more favorable price. This creates a new offer that sits above the active price levels, waiting for someone who likes the opposite side.
  • – to lower the odds and increase liquidity. This pulls your price closer to what other users have already posted, making it easier to get matched instantly.

Let’s walk through a real example from the Dolphins vs. Steelers matchup to see how this works in practice.

By default, the Steelers -3.5 spread is sitting at +109. That price reflects where other users are currently willing to trade, and there’s enough liquidity at that number for smaller bets to get matched right away.

ProphetX Miami Pittsburgh

Now let’s say you want a better price, so you tap the + button and move the odds up to +140.

At +140, you’re no longer asking for the market price. You’re asking for a significantly better deal. When you do that, ProphetX places your bet as a new offer above the existing price levels. Since there aren’t any users currently willing to take the other side at +140, your bet sits as unmatched.

ProphetX Miami Pittsburgh unmatched

Nothing is wrong with the bet. There just isn’t enough liquidity at that price.

You can see this clearly in the app. The play slip shows your +140 bet as open, and your position moves to the unmatched tab. It stays there until one of two things happens. Either another user agrees to take +140, or you adjust the odds back toward the market.

If you then tap the – button and move the odds back down toward +109, you’re pulling your offer closer to where liquidity already exists. Once your price lines up with what other users are posting, the bet can match instantly.

That’s the core mechanic at work.

Using + pushes your odds higher and improves potential payout, but it also reduces the chance of getting matched. Using – gives up some price in exchange for faster execution and more reliable fills. You’re not typing prices manually, but you’re still trading off value versus liquidity with every adjustment.

This system is ProphetX’s streamlined version of the maker and taker logic used by many of the best sports prediction market apps like Crypto.com. You still control the price you want, but you never have to enter numbers manually or deal with an order book.

With ProphetX, if there’s enough liquidity at the price you choose, the match happens instantly, and your bet is locked in.

If not, your pick enters the market as a pending offer and waits for another user to take the opposite side.

Liquidity: The Fuel of the Exchange

Liquidity is the total amount of action sitting at a specific price point.

When you tap on odds you like, liquidity shows precisely how much you can wager at that number and get matched right away.

ProphetX makes this easy to read. Each odds button has a small number below it, representing the pool of Prophet Cash or Prophet Points posted by users on the other side. If your stake fits within that amount, the match happens instantly, and your play becomes active.

Prophet X liquidity

If you try to bet more than what’s available, ProphetX fills the portion it can and places the rest into the market as a pending offer at your selected odds. That leftover amount waits for another user who’s willing to take the other side of your price.

Big markets like NFL moneylines, spreads, and marquee matchups usually have enough liquidity to fill plays immediately. Smaller sports or niche props can take longer because there’s simply less action sitting at each price.

Quick Play: A Faster Way to Post Offers

ProphetX’s Quick Play panel on desktop is designed for speed, not for fine-tuned trading.

Instead of acting as an order-entry tool, Quick Play shows popular markets such as futures and big upcoming games. It’s essentially a shortcut to jumping into markets with strong activity, rather than a place to shape or negotiate prices.

ProphetX Quick Play

From the panel, you can:

  • Quickly select a featured market
  • Jump straight into the full betting interface
  • Avoid digging through menus to find popular events

What Quick Play does not do is let you actively adjust odds, test liquidity, or watch how the matching engine reacts in real time. Those mechanics still live inside the standard play slip and market screens.

Think of Quick Play as a discovery and navigation tool. It helps you get to active markets faster, but the actual pricing, liquidity checks, and odds adjustments still happen once you’re inside the market itself.

What Happens When Your Bet Is Pending

When the market doesn’t have enough liquidity to cover your entire offer, ProphetX shifts your play into a pending state.

You’ll see it listed as open until another user steps in and takes the opposite side.

Pending offers can be:

  • Matched the moment new liquidity shows up
  • Filled in multiple pieces
  • Canceled at any point before a match occurs
  • Adjusted by raising or lowering the odds

Once any part of your offer gets picked up, that portion becomes locked and can’t be changed. Anything that remains unmatched stays open in the market until someone decides to take it.

ProphetX Miami Pittsburgh unmatched

Matched Plays and Escrow

When a play gets matched on ProphetX, the platform immediately secures both sides of the wager.

ProphetX settled bets mobile

Here’s what happens behind the scenes:

  • Funds from each user’s Prophet Cash or Prophet Points balance are pulled and held securely
  • The full amount moves into escrow for the duration of the event
  • The system settles the outcome automatically once the game is over
  • The winning side receives the exact payout tied to the odds they locked in
  • The 2% commission applies only to the winner and only on Prophet Cash wagers

ProphetX doesn’t take positions against users. Every matched play is strictly user-to-user, and the platform handles only the mechanics and settlement.

Sweepstakes Model: How ProphetX Stays Legal

ProphetX runs on a sweepstakes system that uses two types of in-app currency:

  • Prophet Points, which can’t be redeemed for prizes and are meant for casual or low-stakes play
  • Prophet Cash, which can be turned into real cash prizes after wagering it at least once

ProphetX coins

Since you’re never placing a direct real-money wager, the entire experience is treated as a sweepstakes contest instead of regulated gambling.

This setup allows ProphetX to operate in 40+ states, including many where traditional sportsbooks aren’t permitted.

Which States is ProphetX Available In?

ProphetX states that the platform doesn't operate in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, and Washington.

You must be 19 or older to sign up and play.

ProphetX Odds & Pricing

ProphetX doesn’t create lines the way FanDuel or BetMGM does. Traditional sportsbooks publish their own odds and bake in a vig, while ProphetX lets users move the price through a peer-to-peer market.

As more people jump into a matchup, the back-and-forth between user offers can pull the odds closer to true market value and, in many cases, create odds that have positive expected value.

To get a feel for how ProphetX prices a live market, I pulled the Vikings–Seahawks odds and lined them up with what FanDuel and BetMGM were offering at the same time.

On the moneyline (who will win straight up), ProphetX delivers a noticeably stronger price on the favorite. Getting Seattle at -610 is a much better deal than the -800 to -900 range you’ll typically find at the major books.

Minnesota shows +600, which lands just a touch under FanDuel’s +610 but still sits comfortably above BetMGM’s +550. Since odds don't have a vig and are shaped by user activity rather than a house-generated line, matchups often look like this.

One side pops as the clear value play, while the other hangs in a competitive range even when it isn’t the top payout available.

The point spread is where ProphetX’s user-driven market really pops.

ProphetX had the line at Vikings +12 (-107) and Seahawks -12 (+102). If you’re siding with Seattle, that +102 is exactly the kind of spot where the exchange jumps ahead of the traditional books, which were hanging -115 and -105 on the same number.

Minnesota comes in right around the market average. It edges FanDuel by a touch and falls just behind BetMGM.

If there’s one market where ProphetX pulls ahead in this matchup, it’s the totals.

The Over -106 comes in at a better price point than what both FanDuel and BetMGM were offering, and the Under +101 is a considerable step up from the -106 to -110 numbers you see at the major books.

ProphetX Promo Code & Sign-Up Bonus

New players who enter the ProphetX promo code ODDSASSIST when signing up unlock a 20% deposit match up to $100 on their first deposit.

That means ProphetX adds extra Prophet Cash equal to one-fifth of whatever you put in. For example, a $500 deposit drops an additional $100 of bonus Prophet Cash into your account automatically.

ProphetX Promos for Regular Players

No-deposit bonuses are the backbone of sweepstakes sites. However, ProphetX operates under a different business model than traditional sweepstakes casinos, so they have to ration freebies a bit more carefully.

Even with that in mind, they still roll out short-term promos from time to time, and some of them don’t require a deposit at all:

  • Mail-in bonus: Head to the sweepstakes rules, section 6c, to see how the mail-in entry works. You send a physical letter to their Dallas address following the exact instructions, and if it checks out, you’ll receive 2 Prophet Cash for free within a couple of weeks.
  • Referral bonus: When a friend you invite signs up through your referral link, makes a purchase, and plays $50+, you earn $25 in Prophet Cash. For each additional referral after that, you get $5+ in Prophet Cash, up to a total of $50.

ProphetX referral mobile

ProphetX has started offering Exposure Credits, a feature that lets users put matched funds back to work before a market is fully settled. Instead of waiting for every open position to close, users can use those credits to place new orders without taking more money from their cash balance.

There are two versions of the feature. Local Exposure Credits apply to one market and one outcome, while Global Exposure Credits can be used across other markets on the platform.

The feature is automatic and scales with activity, so users get more credits as more orders are matched. For active traders, that can make it easier to stay involved in more markets at the same time without posting as much extra collateral.

ProphetX Sports & Market Variety

ODDS ASSIST RATING: 10/12.5

ProphetX blasts open a big betting menu across 10+ sports. You’ll find moneylines, props, futures, Same Game Parlays, season-long specials, and a bunch of matchup-specific markets spread throughout the biggest leagues.

Sports Selection

Here’s the full lineup of sports you can bet on at ProphetX:

  • NFL
  • NBA
  • College football
  • College basketball
  • NHL
  • UFC
  • Soccer (Premier League, Argentine Primera División, Brazilian Serie A, and plenty more)
  • MLB
  • Tennis
  • Golf
  • NASCAR
  • Motorsport
  • Special markets (politics, pop culture, and other non-sport events)

Some sports rotate in and out based on the calendar. For example, you won’t see tennis markets in December because there aren’t any major tournaments running then.

Soccer coverage is especially strong. While a platform like Novig mostly sticks to the big 5 European leagues, the Champions League, and a few extras, ProphetX goes deeper. You’ll find odds on the English Championship as well as several key South American leagues.

On the flip side, ProphetX doesn’t offer esports at the moment, while Novig does include them in its rotation.

It’s a good idea to check out ProphetX’s Prediction Rules because they act as the platform’s house guidelines for how oddball scenarios are resolved.

One section worth noting is the “Too Good To Be True” policy, which protects users from accidentally mispriced offers and helps keep liquidity healthy across the exchange.

Market Selection

Unlike most prediction apps that mainly stick to basic bet types like moneylines, spreads, and totals, ProphetX’s betting program looks a lot more like what you’d see at a full sportsbook such as Caesars.

For major leagues like the NFL, the variety is basically a firehose with 170+ markets per game. You’ll see options like:

  • First half
  • TD scorers
  • Pass props
  • Pass attempts
  • Rush attempts
  • Receptions
  • Tackles
  • FG props
  • Team totals
  • First quarter markets

ProphetX Browns Bears pass props mobile

You can also put your sports instincts to the test with long-term plays like Super Bowl winner or NFL MVP.

I even ran into some fun NFL betting specials, including things like Myles Garrett To Break the NFL Regular Season Sacks Record .”

Parlays and same-game parlays are also available, giving you the ability to build multi-leg plays from a single matchup.

My Experience Using the ProphetX App

ODDS ASSIST RATING: 12.5/12.5

The first thing that stood out to me on ProphetX was how quickly I got through the signup flow.

I entered my name, address, and email, entered the verification code they sent, and was immediately logged into the app.

There’s no need to upload an ID, take a selfie, or go through the identity checks that slow down most apps, which makes the whole onboarding process refreshingly fast.

Once I arrived on the home screen, the experience shifted a little. ProphetX doesn’t follow the usual “Sport → League → Game” path that most betting apps use. Instead, the lobby groups everything into one stream: NFL, Europa League, UFC, Thanksgiving specials, college football, and various promos sit side by side in the same row of tabs.

Nothing is buried, but the layout isn’t built around a hierarchy. You simply scroll across the tabs until you land on the market you’re looking for.

ProphetX home mobile

ProphetX recently added the option to view the prices in cents, so you don't have to browse, shop, and place trades via American odds only anymore.

Speed and Overall Feel

The app is faster than a lot of real-money sportsbooks I’ve spent time on. Jumping from one market to another happens right away, the odds update the moment anything moves, and the Quick Play panel fires the second you tap it. That part of the experience feels dialed in.

The search bar is another strong point. Type in “Eagles” and it immediately surfaces:

  • Upcoming matchups
  • Futures
  • Props for both the Eagles, as a whole, and Eagles' players like Jalen Hurts
  • Any team with “Eagles” in its name
  • Related market sections

Most apps struggle to return results across multiple categories in a single request, but ProphetX handles it in a way that makes finding what you want feel natural and quick.

ProphetX search bar mobile

Liquidity

ProphetX provides real market depth for major sports. NFL, NBA, and college football all offer a ton of props, and the layouts are transparent.

Every price shows its liquidity right underneath it: +166 with 15 available, -112 with 560 available, +600 with 393 available, and so on. You always know exactly what can be matched on the spot.

Once you move past the big-ticket games, the drop-off becomes noticeable:

  • Plenty of props show “Request” because nobody has posted a price yet.
  • Some markets have only a few dollars available.
  • Entire niche leagues can feel empty.

This isn’t really a ProphetX problem as much as it’s the nature of a peer-to-peer exchange. If users don’t post offers, there’s nothing for the system to match. Still, the gap between the main markets and everything outside of them is hard to miss.

Prophet X liquidity

Bet Slip and Adjusting Odds

The bet slip on ProphetX is straightforward. You enter your stake, check the odds you’re working with, and the slip immediately shows your “To Win” amount.

The part that sets ProphetX apart from traditional sportsbooks is the way you control the price.

Regular books lock you into whatever odds they post.

ProphetX, on the other hand, lets you shift the number using the + and – buttons. Tapping + asks the market for a better price, while tapping – moves you toward the existing liquidity so you can get matched faster.

If you there is no liquidity at your requested price, it will sit in the order book until it's filled. This is a unique feature that even some popular prediction markets, such as OG and Polymarket, don't even allow for.

Liquidity sits right under the odds, showing exactly how much of your stake can be filled instantly. Once everything looks good, you hit Place. The available portion locks immediately, and any excess remains pending until another user takes the other side.

ProphetX play slip mobile

Education and Onboarding Tools

One thing I genuinely appreciated is that ProphetX actually puts effort into teaching you how their exchange works.

The app includes a built-in Sports Exchange Guide, clear explanations of how liquidity and matching function, several “What is Liquidity?” tooltips sprinkled across the interface, and a short onboarding walkthrough the moment you create your account.

The whole package makes it easier for new players to understand the flow and helps experienced bettors get up to speed on the platform’s rhythm right away.

Little Things That Would Make the App Better

There are a couple of minor upgrades that would go a long way:

  • Team logos and player photos make scrolling a lot easier. When everything is just text, it takes your eyes a split second longer to lock onto what you’re looking for.
  • Some markets could be grouped more intuitively. “Pass Attempts” living outside the main passing props section is a good example.
  • The lobby could benefit from a more straightforward layout. With every league and promo sitting on the same level, it’s harder to tell what’s meant to be front and center.

None of these issues hurt the experience, but they do show up once you spend some real time inside the app.

ProphetX Fees

ODDS ASSIST RATING: 38.5/40

Prophet takes a commission on net winnings in each market. They charge 2% fee on net winnings.

Prophet's fee model is very different from trading platforms like Kalshi or Robinhood, where you pay a small fee on every contract you enter, win or lose.

ProphetX Liquidity & Limits

ODDS ASSIST RATING: 10/12.5

Because ProphetX operates as a peer-to-peer exchange, the platform doesn’t set traditional betting limits or restrict winning players. How much you can actually wager depends almost entirely on the liquidity posted by other users who are willing to take the other side of your play.

Liquidity on major sports is solid and, in some markets, a touch better than what I’ve seen on Novig. Outside the headline leagues, things thin out quickly. Many props and most lower-profile sports either have minimal liquidity or none at all.

ProphetX vs. Novig: Side-by-Side Comparison

ProphetX's direct competitor is Novig. Here’s how they compare on the most important aspects.

  • Odds display & data. ProphetX keeps the view simple with straight American odds, but loads each price with useful context, including Last Match levels, total traded volume, and exact liquidity under each button. Novig goes a bit more “nerd mode” here with multiple odds formats, dollar-based liquidity at each level, and price-history charts on select props.
  • Order controls and bet slip. ProphetX keeps the slip simple: enter your stake, see your To Win amount, and adjust the price with + or –. Anything above the posted liquidity becomes a pending offer until someone matches it. Novig uses a Make/Take toggle, where Take hits existing offers and Make lets you type your own price like a limit order.
  • Fees and costs. ProphetX charges a 2% commission on winning Prophet Cash bets. Novig doesn’t charge fees on normal trades and only adds a small fee in rare cases when it steps in to provide liquidity.
  • Bonuses and promos. ProphetX gives new players a 20% purchase match up to $100, plus a referral bonus and a few more rotating promos. Novig comes in hotter with a no-deposit starter bundle, daily login rewards, missions, odds boosts, referral Cash, and mail-in bonuses. Promo hunters get more value at Novig.
  • Market variety. Both apps hit all the major U.S. sports, but they split in different directions. Novig covers esports, and ProphetX makes up for it with a much wider range of player props in the major leagues.
  • Navigation and UX. Novig feels more structured: sports and bet types are neatly grouped, so it’s easy to drill down from sport → league → market. ProphetX’s lobby tosses leagues, specials, and promos into the same strip. The trade-off is that ProphetX is faster and has better search and onboarding guides, while Novig wins on pure organization.
  • Banking. ProphetX has the edge here by a wide margin. They offer PayNearMe for cash-at-retail deposits (something Novig doesn’t), and their minimum withdrawal is only $1, compared to Novig’s $20 minimum.

How to Get Started with ProphetX

Signing up for ProphetX was surprisingly easy. I entered my name, address, and email, the system ran an instant check in the background, and my account was verified on the spot without any driver’s license upload or extra documents.

Here’s a full step-by-step guide on how to join ProphetX and start playing.

1. Register

The signup flow has three quick steps. First, you enter your email and password and confirm that you’re 19+ by checking the T&C boxes. This is also the spot where you should enter the ProphetX promo code ODDSASSIST to qualify for the 20% deposit match up to $100.

ProphetX Registration Step 1

2. Verify your phone

In the second step, you enter your phone number, and ProphetX sends you a six-digit code by SMS. There’s no countdown or time limit on entering the code, so you can plug it in whenever it arrives.

Once your phone is verified, the app will ask for your date of birth to finish the identity check.

ProphetX registration Step 2

3. Provide personal information

Next, you enter your address and the last four digits of your SSN. Once you submit that info, the ProphetX system automatically verifies your identity. There’s no extra documentation, no uploads, and no additional verification steps required.

Registration Step 3

How ProphetX Differs from Traditional Sportsbooks

On the surface, ProphetX looks like a modern sportsbook, but beneath it runs as a peer-to-peer sweepstakes exchange. Here’s how it compares to major sportsbooks.

Feature

Sportsbook

ProphetX

How prices are set

Odds set by the house with a built-in margin (vig). Users can’t directly control pricing.

Prices are shaped by user matching. You tap + to request a better number or to lower the odds and boost liquidity. There’s no vig.

Market dynamics

Odds update periodically and stay fixed once your bet is placed.

Markets move in real time based on what users are willing to match. Liquidity at each price dictates whether your bet fills instantly or becomes a pending offer.

Position control

Bets are locked unless the sportsbook offers Cash Out.

No cash-outs or selling positions. You can adjust or cancel offers only while they’re still unmatched. Once matched, they sit in escrow until settlement.

Bonuses & incentives

Boosts, bet credits, no-sweat bets, deposit promos.

Mail-in entries, referral bonus, and recurring free Prophet Points/Cash drops.

Banking methods

ACH, cards, PayPal, Venmo, depending on the state.

Purchases via debit/credit cards and PayNearMe. Prize redemptions require a verified bank connection.

Cash handling

Real-money deposits and withdrawals.

Virtual currency system: Prophet Points (free-to-play) + Prophet Cash (redeemable for prizes after 1x playthrough).

Fee structure

Vig is built into every line (typically 4–8%).

No vig on odds; ProphetX charges a flat 2% commission on winning bets only.

Transparency

Sportsbooks rarely show margins or market depth.

Every odds button displays exact liquidity, plus traded volume per market, and a clear breakdown of sweepstakes rules.

Regulation

Overseen by state gambling commissions.

Operates under sweepstakes law, allowing access in 40+ states with no gambling license required.

ODDS ASSIST RATING: 4.5/5

ProphetX handles purchases differently from Novig. Instead of buying preset bundles, you can load any amount of Coins as long as you spend $10 or more. Supported methods include debit and credit cards, online banking, and PayNearMe.

The cash-at-retail option is a nice touch, though adding an e-wallet like PayPal would further round out the banking setup.

ProphetX Background

ProphetX is the modern version of the same app that first launched in 2022 as Prophet Exchange, the very first peer-to-peer sports betting exchange to operate in the United States.

The platform was created by Dean Sisun and Jake Benzaquen, who are still the two people running the company today under the same corporate umbrella.

Prophet Exchange originally went live in New Jersey in August 2022 as a fully licensed P2P exchange regulated by the NJDGE.

The concept was ambitious: a true P2P marketplace with no vig. The challenge was liquidity. There wasn’t enough to keep the action going. On top of that, running inside New Jersey’s full sportsbook licensing structure meant high operating costs and very little room to expand.

By late 2023, the team announced they were closing the New Jersey exchange and shifting to a model that could reach more players and more states.

In July 2024, they introduced the ProphetX brand and announced a move to a sweepstakes-based exchange, enabling the platform to operate beyond state-by-state sportsbook rules.

With the new structure in place, ProphetX relaunched in September 2024 and quickly became available in over 40 states.

Here are the key milestones that shaped the platform:

  • August 2022: Prophet Exchange launches in New Jersey as the first P2P sports exchange in the US.
  • 2022–2023: Operations remain limited to New Jersey, and growth is constrained by regulatory constraints and low liquidity.
  • Late 2023: Team announces departure from New Jersey and a shift toward a broader model.
  • July 2024: Rebrand to ProphetX and transition to a sweepstakes-powered exchange.
  • September 2024: ProphetX relaunches with virtual currency and nationwide accessibility.

Today, ProphetX operates as a sweepstakes exchange with broad availability, but its roots, technology, and team trace back to the original New Jersey exchange project.

ProphetX FAQs

How does ProphetX’s pricing work?
ProphetX doesn’t build vig into the odds. Prices move based on what other users post, and your play fills instantly when liquidity is available. If not, you bump the odds with + or lower them with –. ProphetX charges 2% only on winning Prophet Cash bets.

Why can’t I cash out or sell my bet on ProphetX?
ProphetX runs on a sweepstakes model. Once your bet matches, both sides go into escrow and stay locked until the event ends. Sweepstakes rules don’t allow in-play trading or cash-outs, so the only flexibility is to adjust or cancel an offer before it matches.

How do Prophet Points and Prophet Cash work?
Prophet Points are non-redeemable and used for free plays. Prophet Cash works like bonus currency; once you play it through one time, winnings can be redeemed for real prizes. You can earn both through purchases, promos, mail-in entries, and referrals.

What purchase and redemption methods does ProphetX support?
You can deposit via online banking, debit/credit cards, prepaid cards, and PayNearMe. Check my ProphetX banking page for more details on limits and payout speed.

What sports and markets does ProphetX offer?
ProphetX covers the major U.S. sports plus soccer, tennis, golf, and more, depending on the season. Markets include moneylines, spreads, totals, futures, SGPs, and deep player props like passing, rushing, receiving, TDs, and attempts. Esports aren’t available.

How is ProphetX different from a traditional sportsbook?
Sportsbooks set the odds and bake in vig. ProphetX runs a P2P market where users move the price, and the platform simply matches bets. Everything uses virtual currency, so there’s no direct cash wagering and no cash-out, but you often get better starting prices.

How is ProphetX different from Novig?
Both use sweepstakes and P2P mechanics, but ProphetX uses simple + and – odds controls instead of Novig’s Make/Take panel. ProphetX has PayNearMe and $1 withdrawals, plus deeper props in major sports. Novig wins on promos and the no-deposit bundle.

How is ProphetX different from Sporttrade?
Sporttrade is a real-money exchange with live trading, open/close positions, and dynamic pricing. ProphetX isn’t a trading app. Once your bet matches, it stays locked until the result is final. The trade-off is easier pricing, no order book, and stronger opening numbers.
