How to Claim New Orleans Saints Sports Betting Promo Codes

It’s easy to claim Saints promo codes to get bonus bets (formerly called risk-free bets), deposit matches, and more. Here’s a step-by-step process that applies to most sportsbooks:

  1. Choose your sportsbook and the promotion you want to take advantage of.
  2. Click through to the sportsbook’s website or download the app and find the registration/join button.
  3. Fill out the required info in the registration process including your name, address, last four digits of your SSN, and more.
  4. Once you’ve created an account, go to the Promotions section and make sure you understand the full details.
  5. Deposit enough money to cover the promotion. For example, if it is up to $1,000 back in bonus bets and you want to max it out, deposit $1,000.
  6. Opt into the promotion if necessary.
  7. Make a qualifying bet for the promotion.

Types of Saints Sports Betting Bonuses

Wondering what the different types of Saints sportsbook promotions mean? There are three main types of promotions that sportsbooks offer as sign-up bonuses:

  • Up to $X Back in Bonus Bets. With this type of offer, if you lose your first bet, you receive a bonus bet or multiple bonus bets of equal value up to the limit. If you win your first bet, congrats! You don’t receive any bonus bet(s) in this case. Note that these were previously called “risk-free bets” but that terminology is no longer used as it's somewhat misleading.
  • Deposit Match. With deposit match bonuses, the sportsbook will match your first deposit in site credit or free bets by a percentage up to a certain limit. Though most sportsbooks do 100% deposit matches (often up to $250 or $500), some do lower matches such as 20%.
  • First Bet Match. These are one of the best types of sportsbook sign-up bonuses since you receive a bonus bet or bonus bets up to the amount of your first bet regardless of whether it wins or loses.
  • Bet & Get. These bonuses are listed as “Bet $X, Get $X.” While the amounts vary, a typical example is Bet $50, Get $200. These are great because they require a lower initial deposit amount to fully max out the offer compared to other promotions.

New Orleans Saints Betting Promo Codes FAQs

Who is eligible to redeem Saints betting promo codes?
Almost anyone who is 21 or older that is betting in a state that has legal sports betting—which includes Louisiana—can take advantage of New Orleans Saints betting bonuses. Note that most sign-up bonuses are for new customers only.

What promo code do I need to use to get the Saints welcome bonuses?
Most sportsbooks don’t require special promo codes to access their welcome bonuses. If one is required, we indicate it in the promo cards above. Most often, you’ll be set as long as you use our exclusive links which you can see in our best sportsbook promo codes guide.

What is the best kind of sports betting promotion?
There is no right answer for what type of sports betting promo is the best. It depends on your situation and how much you are willing to spend. For example, first bet matches and 100% deposit matches have the most favorable terms since you receive the bonus money no matter what, but they often have less value than the promos that give bonus bets if your first bet loses.

Can I bet the Saints to win the Super Bowl?
Yes! All major sportsbooks will allow you to bet on who will win the Super Bowl. As of the time of this writing, FanDuel Louisiana has the Saints at +4000 (40/1) to win Super Bowl LVII.

What is the best strategy for betting Saints promos?
There are a few strategies you can use to guarantee profit or at least make it more likely that you’ll profit when using free bets and betting offers, such as finding arbitrage opportunities, betting the opposite side with another sportsbook, and placing the bets on longshots. New Orleans Saints Betting Partnership With Caesars

The New Orleans Saints and Caesars Entertainment first entered into partnership in 2018, making Harrah's New Orleans the official casino partner of the team.

In even bigger news in July 2021, Caesars announced that the Saints' iconic stadium would be rebranded as the Caesars Superdome in a 20-year deal.

At this time, the Saints don't have any other official sports betting partners—though that's not very surprising given that the stadium is named after one of the most popular sportsbooks in the nation.

Types of New Orleans Saints Bets

At this point, you may have chosen a sportsbook to bet on the Saints with, but what type of bets can you make?

Let's take a look at the most common types of NFL bets:

Saints Moneyline Bets

This is the simplest type of bet. With moneyline bets, you simply pick who will win the game. For example, you may pick the Saints to beat the Falcons straight up.

To successfully place moneyline bets, you’ll have to know how to read betting odds. Since one team is typically favored over another, you won’t simply be paid out what you bet.

Instead, one team will be a favorite (indicated by a negative sign in front of their odds) while another will be an underdog (positive sign in front of their odds).

Betting on underdogs will payout more than betting on favorites.

Saints Spread Bets

Though moneyline bets are the most straightforward, spread bets are the most common type of NFL bet—including the Saints.

With spread bets, each team is “handicapped” by a certain number of points to make the game more even. If the bookmakers expect one team to win, they will “take away” points from their final score and “add” points to the other team's final score.

For example, if the Saints are -3.5 points against the Panthers (+3.5), then the Saints would have to win by 4 or more in order for the bet to win.

On the flip side, if the Saints are +6.5 against the Buccaneers (-6.5), then the Saints would have to lose by 6 points or less OR win the game in order to cover the spread.

Saints Total (Over/Under) Bets

Another popular type of sports bet is a total—often also called Over/Under bets.

With total bets, you decide whether the final score of the game will be higher or lower than a set number.

If you think Jameis Winston and Alvin Kamara are going to go off on offense, for example, then you may want to consider taking the Over. If you think a game is going to be a defensive battle, then maybe the Under is a better bet.

Say the Saints are playing the Cowboys and the total is set at 44.5. If the final score is Saints 21 – Cowboys 17, then the Under would hit since the combined score would be 38. If the score was Saints 28 – Cowboys 27, then the Over would hit with a combined score of 55.

Saints Prop Bets

While they aren’t as popular as moneyline, spread, and total bets, there are many more prop bets available and they provide a chance to find good value in many cases.

With prop bets, you are betting on something other than the final score of the game. There are two types: game props and player props.

With game props, you bet on things like who will score first, if there will be a safety, and if the combined final score will be odd or even.

With player props, you bet on the individual statistics of a player. For example, you may bet on Jameis Winston to have over 265 passing yards or for him to throw an interception. Alternatively, you may decide to bet on Alvin Kamara to have over 150 combined rushing and receiving yards.

Saints Futures Bets

Futures bets are exactly what they sound like—a bet that is based on something further in the future than the next week or two.

When it comes to the New Orleans Saints, specifically, futures bets include them winning the NFC South or Super Bowl, if their win total will be above or below the set number, one of the players to win an individual award such as MVP or Defensive Player of the Year, and much more.

For example, if you think Tyrann Mathieu is going to be a superstar addition in his first year with the Saints, you may bet on him to win Defensive Player of the Year. Or, maybe you think Michael Thomas will overcome his injury woes and have an All-Pro season as we've seen in the past. In this case, betting on him to win Comeback Player of the Year or Offensive Player of the Year may make sense.
