New York Giants Betting Partnership With DraftKings

Many professional sports teams—especially those in the NFL—sign partnerships with sportsbooks to promote them throughout the stadium, on the website, and in other ways.

Currently, the Giants' only official sports betting partner is DraftKings. The two organizations signed an agreement in September 2020, just in time for that season. DraftKings is also the Giants' official DFS partner.

As a part of the deal, DraftKings was able to open a virtual SportsLounge for game days. They also brand placements throughout the stadium and in Giants media.

Types of New York Giants Bets

Before you run to open a sportsbook account to take advantage of one of the Giants bonuses available, let's take a look at the most popular type of bets that you can make:

Giants Moneyline Bets

Moneyline bets are the simplest type of bet since you're just picking who will win the game. For example, you may place a moneyline wager on the Giants to beat the Eagles.

Though moneyline bets are simple, you need to know how to read betting odds in order to understand the sportsbook's estimated probability of a team winning. For example, if you think the Giants have a 70% chance of winning and the sportsbook gives an implied probability of 60%, then it may be a good bet.

Giants Spread Bets

Spread bets are the most common type of NFL bet and the Giants are no exception. With this type of bet, each team is “given” a certain number of points or has a certain number of points “taken away” from its final score. This helps make the game more even.

For example, if the Giants are -3.5 points against the Commanders (+3.5), then the Giants would have to win by 4 or more in order for the bet to win.

Or, if the Giants are +6.5 against the Cowboys (-6.5), then the Giants would have to lose by 6 points or less, OR win the game in order to cover the spread.

Giants Total (Over/Under) Bets

Another popular type of sports bet is a total—often also called Over/Under bets.

With total bets, you decide whether the final score of the game will be higher or lower than the number the book sets.

Let’s illustrate with an example: Say the Giants are playing the Eagles and the total is set at 44. If the final score is Giants 27 – Eagles 21, then the Over would hit since the combined score would be 48. If the score was Giants 17 – Eagles 10, then the Under would hit with a combined score of 27.

If you think Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley are going to put on some fireworks, for example, you may want to bet the Over. Or, if you think they won't be able to get the ball across the goal line, maybe the Under is a better bet.

Giants Prop Bets

While they aren't as popular as the bet types listed above, there are countless prop bets available for each game and, because there are so many of them, they provide a chance to find good value.

With prop bets, you are betting on something other than the final score of the game. There are two types: game props and player props.

With game props, you bet on things like who will score first, how many turnovers there will be, and if there will be a safety.

With player props, you bet on the individual statistics of a player. For example, you may bet on Saquon Barkley to have over 85 rushing yards or for him to run a TD. Alternatively, you may decide to bet on Kayvon Thibodeaux to record a sack.

Giants Futures Bets

Futures bets are bets on things like season-end awards and who will win a division or the Super Bowl.

When it comes to the Giants, specifically, futures bets include them winning the NFC East, NFC Championship, or Super Bowl; if their win total will be above or below a certain number; and one of the players to win an individual award such as MVP or Rookie of the Year.

For example, if you think Saquon Barkley will have a huge bounceback season, you may bet him to win Comeback Player of the Year. Or, if you think Leonard Williams is going to take the next step as a defensive stud, maybe you bet him to win Defensive Player of the Year.
