Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs UNDER 24.5 1st Half – Sunday at 6:30 pm ET on FOX
Games the Eagles are in are averaging just under 21 total points in the first half this year. Those games have gone over 24 points in the first half just 7 times in 21 games.
The Chiefs have also gone over 24 points just 7 times in 20 games this year, and their games are averaging 21.6 points in the first half this season.
The Eagles and Chiefs are two of the top defensive teams in the league. The Eagles ranked 1st, allowing only 278.4 yards per game in the regular season. The Chiefs ranked 9th, allowing just 320.6 yards per game.
Both teams will want to control the ball and set the tone early. That could mean long opening drives and limited possessions in the first half for both teams. The Chiefs have had opening drives that have last 4:54 or longer 10 times this season.
The Eagles, on the other hand, have not had much success on first drives, scoring a touchdown only 5 times this year, with most of those coming on short fields set up by the defense. So don’t look for them to come out of the gates fast.
Neither team turns the ball over, though, so short fields will be at a premium. Both teams have turned the ball over just 15 times the entire season.
These offenses are capable of finding the end zone, but in a game of this magnitude, neither team will take unnecessary risks early.

While the price is high, it seems very unlikely that all of a sudden, two teams that take really good care of the ball will start fumbling it.

This one has a better price than the fumble prop and both quarterbacks also take good care of the ball.
Patrick Mahomes has just 11 interceptions on the year and hasn’t thrown one since November 17, making it 8 straight games without an interception.
Jalen Hurts has thrown just 5 interceptions this year and none since November 10, making it 9 straight starts without an interception.
Highest Scoring Half: Second Half (-105)
We outlined that these two teams typically don’t score a lot in the first half with our best bet.
However, they are both plenty capable of putting up points or getting a big scoring drive quickly if they need one late to keep themselves in a game.
If the scoring opens up, I expect it to be in the second half, so I’m taking it to be the highest-scoring half.
Opening Kickoff to be a Touchback: No (+205)
Touchbacks, while still relatively common, have been less frequent this year. Taking a flyer on the “No” is worth a shot, especially if the Eagles kickoff first.
The Eagles have struggled with kickoffs this year. Also, the players will be jacked up to start the game, and someone could look to make a big play to start the game.
Travis Kelce OVER 60.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
The Eagles struggled to defend Commanders tight end Zach Ertz in the NFC Championship game, giving up over 100 yards to him.
Kelce could be in for a big game if the Eagles continue to struggle to cover the position in the Super Bowl.
If they are going to spy Mahomes, it could leave even more openings for Kelce, especially with the Eagles having very good cornerbacks to defend the Chiefs receivers.
