UTSA -16.5 vs Temple – Friday, 7 pm ET on ESPN2
Temple is a program in disarray at the moment. They finally picked up a win on Saturday and then immediately fired their head coach following the game.
Temple has lost all 5 of their road games this season by an average of over 30 points per game.
Don’t look for significant improvement against UTSA, a team that will become bowl-eligible with a win.
UTSA is undefeated at home this season, averaging over 40 points per game in their 5 home victories.
The Temple offense, which is averaging less than 15 points per game on the road, will not be able to keep up. The Temple defense is allowing over 45 points per game on the road this season.
This one has blowout written all over it. Take UTSA to cover this large number.

Ohio State -10 vs. Indiana – Saturday, 12 pm ET on FOX
Ohio State will prove to be a step above 5th-ranked Indiana when these teams step on the field Saturday afternoon.
Indiana has not played a strong schedule this year during their 10-0 run to start the season. In fact, they have only one win against a team currently over .500, and that is 6-5 Washington. The combined record of Indiana’s FBS opponents is 38-53.
Ohio State is much more tested, having handed Penn State their only loss of the season and also losing at Oregon by 1 point.
Look for Ohio State to remind everyone they are legitimate title contenders with a double-digit win at home Saturday.

Arizona State -3 vs. BYU – Saturday, 3:30 pm ET on ESPN
BYU finally saw the breaks go the other way in a 17-13 loss to Kansas at home last Saturday. It was their first loss of the season and their first loss in a one-possession game after winning 4 one-possession games during their 9-0 start.
Now they will travel to face an Arizona State team that is playing much better football of late, winning 3 in a row and 4 of their last 5. They are undefeated at home, averaging 35 points per game, and have won every home game by at least 4 points.
Don’t expect a quick bounce back from BYU. Look for Arizona State to get the win and cover at home.

Louisville -7.5 vs. Pittsburgh – Saturday, 4 pm ET on ESPN2
Pitt’s season has spiraled backward quickly following a 7-0 start. They have now dropped 3 straight and have seen their offense really struggle in those games. They are averaging just over 24 points per game in their 3 losses compared to over 40 points per game in their 7 wins.
Going up against a strong Louisville team on the road is not likely the place for Pitt to get back on track.
Louisville has dropped a few homes games this year, but they have been to the top teams in the ACC, including SMU and Miami.
When you look at how these teams have done against common opponents, Pitt lost to Clemson and Virginia while Louisville beat them both. Both teams lost to SMU, but Louisville played them much tougher than Pitt did.
Look for Louisville to get the win and cover Saturday afternoon.

NCAAF Pick of the Week: Notre Dame -14 vs. Army – Saturday, 7 pm ET on NBC
Notre Dame has played a much tougher schedule than Army has this season. Army’s only win against a team currently over .500 comes against 6-4 East Carolina. The combined record of their 8 FBS opponents this season is just 27-53.
Notre Dame already saw a similar offense earlier this season when they faced Navy, and they handled it quite well, allowing just 14 points on their way to a 51-14 victory.
Army does not have an effective pass offense, so once Notre Dame gets up a few points, it will become very difficult for the Army to come back.
Expect an A+ effort out of Notre Dame. They will win by more than 2 touchdowns and continue to solidify a spot in the 12-team playoff.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -5.5 @ New York Giants – Sunday, 1 pm ET on FOX
The New York Giants have clearly thrown the towel in on the season and the Daniel Jones era in New York.
If the Giants were at all serious about still trying to win football games they would not have gone to Tommy DeVito as the new starting quarterback when they have a very capable backup in Drew Lock on the roster.
However, it is clear the Giants have no interest in winning and are instead looking towards a high draft pick in 2025. That attitude will most certainly carry over to the entire team and their performance on the field.
Tampa has struggled lately, but they are still right in the thick of it in the NFC South, and this is a perfect chance for them to get back on track.
Look for Tampa to take advantage of the situation and grab the win and cover Sunday afternoon.

NFL Pick of the Week: Green Bay Packers -3 vs. San Francisco 49ers – Sunday, 4:25 pm ET on FOX
The 49ers suffered another frustrating loss to the Seahawks last week, 20-17, dropping them to a disappointing 5-5 on the season.
The 49ers continue to struggle with injuries. While Trent Williams, Nick Bosa, and George Kittle may play Sunday, it’s unlikely any of them will be 100% healthy.
The Packers are 6-4 ATS in their last 10 games at home, while the 49ers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games.
Look for the Packers to take advantage of the 49ers’ injury woes and come away with a win and cover Sunday afternoon.
