NFL Week 13 & NCAAF Week 14 Best Bets
Michigan State -1.5 vs. Rutgers 3:30 pm ET on FS1
This is a must-win game for Michigan State if they want to play in a bowl game this season, so look for them to be very motivated to beat a Rutgers team that has won just one game on the road this season.
The strength of schedule disparity here is quite large. Rutgers has played a very weak schedule, with no wins against any teams with a better than 6-5 record.
Meanwhile, Michigan State has faced Ohio State, Indiana, and Oregon, so they are the much more tested team heading into this game.
Rutgers has one of the worst defenses in the Big 10, giving up nearly 400 yards per game. Look for Michigan State to find some scores and grab a win to earn a bowl bid.

USC +7.5 vs. Notre Dame – 3:30 pm ET on CBS
USC would love nothing more than to ruin the playoff aspirations of Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon.
This has always been a competitive series, and Notre Dame hasn’t won by more than a touchdown at USC since the year 2000.
The Notre Dame schedule leaves a lot to be desired, and other than a season-opening win at Texas A&M, they don’t have a signature win. While they have come a long way from losing to Northern Illinois back in September, having them lay more than a touchdown on the road is a big ask.
USC has played a lot of tough games this year, including a 3-point home loss to Penn State.
Look for them to try and leave one final mark on the 2024 college football season and cover against Notre Dame on Saturday.

NCAAF Pick of the Week: Texas A&M +5.5 vs. Texas – 7:30 pm ET on ABC
What a way to renew this rivalry, with a spot in the SEC Championship game on the line.
Texas A&M is in a must-win situation if they want to have a spot in the 12-team playoff, so the stakes are higher for them, as Texas is likely in even with a loss.
Texas A&M clearly got caught looking ahead to the Texas game in their overtime loss at Auburn last week.
However, during the season, Texas A&M played a much stronger SEC schedule, including winning against LSU and Missouri. On the flip side, Texas does not have a win against an SEC team with a record better than 6-5.
Look for the atmosphere to be electric on Saturday night at Kyle Field in a game that will likely go down to the wire. Take Texas A&M plus the points, and don’t be surprised if they pull the outright upset against an untested Texas team.

NFL Pick of the Week: Baltimore Ravens -3 vs. Philadelphia Eagles – 4:25 pm ET on CBS
While the Eagles are done with airplane travel for the 2024 season, this is not an ideal spot for them. They will be playing their second consecutive game on the road and will be doing so without their defensive leader, Brandon Graham, who was lost for the year to a torn triceps.
It is not an ideal time to lose Graham, as they will be facing a Ravens team that has the #1-ranked offense in the league.
I think Ravens QB Lamar Jackson will be the difference in this game. He will make a few more plays than Eagles QB Jalen Hurts and lead the Ravens to a win and cover Sunday afternoon.

Buffalo Bills -6.5 vs. San Francisco 49ers – 8:20 pm ET on NBC
The 49ers are in a terrible spot heading into their game against Buffalo.
First, they are playing their second consecutive road game and have to go across the country to do it.
They are also still dealing with a lot of significant injuries on both sides of the ball. It remains to be seen whether or not 49ers QB Brock Purdy will play, but regardless, it will not be an easy task for the 49ers.
The Bills are coming into this game off a bye week, and they have been playing great football, especially at home, where they have not lost all year and are putting up 35 points per game.
The weather will be cold on Sunday, and the Bills will officially put the 49ers’ 2024 season on ice with a big win and cover.
