NFL Week 18 Best Bets
Cincinnati Bengals -2 @ Pittsburgh Steelers – Saturday, 8 pm ET on ABC
The Bengals will certainly be the more motivated team Saturday night as they will be fighting for their playoff lives, while the Steelers will likely be locked into a Wild Card slot, assuming the Ravens beat the Browns in their game earlier Saturday afternoon.
The Bengals offense has been firing on all cylinders in recent weeks, averaging nearly 37 points per game in their last 7 games.
The Steelers, meanwhile, have been struggling, losing 3 in a row while scoring an average of just 13.3 points per game during the losing streak.
While there is no indication the Steelers plan to sit their starters on Saturday night, it certainly is a possibility at some point during the game.
Look for the Bengals to come out strong and get the win and cover to keep their playoff hopes alive.

NFL Pick of the Week: Denver Broncos -10 vs. Kansas City Chiefs – Sunday, 4:25 pm ET on CBS
No team has a more straightforward path to making the playoffs from the AFC on Sunday than the Denver Broncos. If they win, they clinch the final AFC playoff spot.
Look for them to do just that against a Kansas City team that has nothing to play for after clinching the #1 seed and a bye last week.
They will treat this more like a preseason game, with many starters, including QB Patrick Mahomes, sitting this one out to avoid injury and to grab some extra rest after the Chiefs played 3 games in 11 days.
The Broncos, meanwhile, will have all their starters going in this must-win spot for them.
Look for the Broncos to take advantage of a Chiefs team that will be going through the motions and grab a win and cover on Sunday.

Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings UNDER 56.5 – Sunday, 8:20 pm ET on NBC
The final regular season game of the 2024 season will be high stakes for both teams as the winner clinches the #1 seed, the all-important bye, and home-field advantage, while the loser will be the #5 seed and start their playoff journey on the road come Wild Card weekend.
While both teams can put up points, look for this game to be about ball control, long drives, and some defensive plays.
Both teams do have solid defenses. The Vikings allow only 18.8 points per game, while the Lions allow only 20.8 points per game.
Look for this one to stay under an unusually high total for an NFL game, with the stakes being so high on Sunday night.
