In a few states with legal sports betting, there’s usually a local brand ready to challenge big names such as FanDuel and DraftKings. LetsBetMD is one of those homegrown betting sites in Maryland.
LetsBetMD launched in July 2024, entering Maryland as the 12th licensed sportsbook in the state. It's run by Veterans Services Corporation (VSC) and Bee-Fee Limited.
They use Bee-Fee Limited’s white-label platform and handle their odds in-house. That means you’ll see lines that sometimes don’t match what’s out there in the national books, and that’s not a bad thing. Sometimes, you’ll catch good prices on LetsBetMD, especially on MLB spreads and moneylines across sports.
The dual welcome bonus deserves a shout-out. New bettors get first-bet insurance plus 7 days of “no-sweat” betting. For repeat players, promotions such as early cashouts and parlay boosts provide solid ongoing value.
LetsBetMD’s player props menu is sneaky good. MLB fans get 24 markets, including rare head-to-head bets you won’t find at most sportsbooks.
LetsBetMD offers a range of DOTA2 and LOL markets under its esports tab, making it worth checking out if competitive gaming bets are your thing.
That said, there are a few rough patches, mainly with the user experience.
There’s no dedicated desktop app; instead, you’ll have to navigate the mobile-optimized site when using a desktop browser. Additionally, Same Game Parlays can be glitchy—you might build a parlay only to see certain picks flagged as incompatible when you go to place the bet.
The overall market variety feels thin compared to top-tier apps like FanDuel and Caesars. That said, futures have improved at LetsBetMD. It’s still not on par with the big sportsbooks, but you’ll find the basics — like championship winner bets — for all major sports.

Here’s what I like most about LetsBetMD:

My Least Favorite Parts of LetsBetMD
Here’s what I consider the biggest drawbacks with LetsBetMD:
- User experience issues: The first thing that bothered me was the lack of a desktop platform. I had to use the mobile version of the site on my laptop, which felt clunky and unresponsive. Beyond that, the SGP (Same Game Parlay) builder can be a bit picky. If your last selection doesn’t actually improve the odds — like pairing an away win with a positive away handicap — you’ll see a message saying the picks aren’t compatible. Plus, having to confirm your bet before it’s placed feels like an unnecessary extra step that just slows everything down.
- Disappointing odds boosts: LetsBetMD promotes odds boosts for most major sports and even some niche ones, such as tennis, all under the “Bet Booster” tab. But in practice, the boosts don’t offer much value compared to competitors. Case in point: in a Red Sox vs. Nationals game, their boosted over 8.5 runs line was -114, while FanDuel had regular odds at -105 on the same bet.

As someone who prefers betting on a laptop, the lack of a desktop platform was a tough pill to swallow, but I soldiered on with the mobile version.
I liked how the biometric features—fingerprint and face ID—both worked without a hitch. This is surprisingly something that other sportsbooks often don't do well.
The LetsBetMD welcome bonus was a sweet little twist I didn’t see coming. I’ve seen no-sweat first bets a million times, but those extra refund days were a nice cherry on top.
I jumped in right as the MLB season was heating up. When I checked their lines, I found a decent range of props. Game props included over/under bets on earned runs and hits, while player props had cool plays like head-to-head total bases matchups.
Overall, it was not bad for game-by-game bets, but the futures section was limited, offering only odds for the World Series and conference winners.

The features toolkit wasn’t anything special, but with cash-out and Same Game Parlays available, it covered the essentials for me.
I encountered a hiccup with the geolocation plugin and reached out to support, which promptly resolved the issue via live chat. However, the second time I needed help—to ask what documents they accept for KYC—the live chat was offline, and that’s when I realized they don’t offer 24/7 support.
All in all, LetsBetMD won’t knock FanDuel off the top spot anytime soon, but I had an enjoyable time betting here.

LetsBetMD’s odds aren’t always on par with big names like FanDuel, Fanatics, or Caesars, but setting lines in-house does create some opportunities. During Wimbledon, for example, underdogs were often priced shorter than at DraftKings or FanDuel, which meant extra value on the favorites.
For MLB, NBA (regular season), and NFL, the main markets are competitive at -105 vs. -111, with WNBA lines at -111 both ways. NHL sits at -111 vs. -111 for now, and less popular markets can have a bigger margin.
The weak spot is NBA pricing during certain events — like the Summer League — where odds have stretched to 30 cents, such as -115 on each side instead of the standard -110.

The LetsBetMD welcome bonus, called Bet and No Sweat, consists of two parts: first-bet insurance and first-week insurance.
You need to deposit at least $10 and place a qualifying bet with total odds no longer than +600 (+800, +1000, etc.) and no lower than -250 (-300, -500, etc.) to activate the first bet insurance. If that first bet loses, you’ll get a Bonus Bet equal to your stake, up to $200.
The maximum you can win from a First Bet Insurance Bonus Bet is capped at $1,000.
The first-week insurance kicks in after your first deposit, giving you a Bonus Bet worth 50% of your net losses during your opening week, capped at $300. For example, if you throw down $200 in your first week and don’t hit a win, you’ll get $100 back as a Bonus Bet.
The max you can win from any bonus bets from the First Week Insurance Bonus Bet is $1,500.
Bonus Bets remain valid for 7 days after they are credited to your account.
Overall, the LetsBetMD welcome bonus is valuable thanks to its two-layered protection. However, the maximum payout caps are a downside, which is why I scored them 13 out of 15 in the sign-up offer category.

LetsBetMD App & Website User Experience – My Takeaways

LetsBetMD was clearly built as a mobile-first platform, which is evident from the lack of a true desktop version. When you access the sportsbook on a laptop, it loads the mobile site, which comes with limitations.
First off, the entire sportsbook sits squished into about a third of your screen, leaving the rest wasted. Navigation feels clunky, with a hamburger menu tucked in the top left. There’s also no standard A-Z list of sports; instead, opening the sports tab takes you to a separate screen, and you end up clicking through multiple layers just to find the market you want.
Making a same-game parlay can also be a pain. After opening the SGP tab, there’s a delay while it loads. Once you pick your bets, you have to manually add them to your slip with the “add to bet slip” button, and half the time, you’re met with a message saying your picks can’t be combined, even though you selected them straight from the SGP section.
The mobile app, though, is a different story. It runs much faster, lists sports right at the top, and makes full use of your screen space. I recommend downloading the app if you stick with LetsBetMD.

Market variety mostly comes down to props and futures since other bet types don’t vary much from book to book.
LetsBetMD doesn’t quite compete with heavyweights like FanDuel or DraftKings in these two markets, but they still offer a decent selection, especially for the major sports.

You can get to the props either by opening a specific game or by tapping the button in the bottom right, where props for all games are listed in one place.
The player props menu at LetsBetMD isn’t the flashiest in the industry, but it’s surprisingly competitive once you dig in. For MLB, they currently offer 24 different player prop markets—more than FanDuel (15), Caesars (10), BetRivers (1), and BetMGM (0), and just a bit behind DraftKings (29).
They also have a strong selection of WNBA player props this season, with lines covering a wide range of players and stats. Once NBA and NFL are in season, you’ll find plenty of player props there too.
MLB props are particularly impressive, covering all the main statistical categories, including hits, runs, strikeouts, and RBIs. They even have premade combos, such as Yandy Diaz to get a 1+ hit and Tampa Bay to win.
I also came across some cool head-to-head props where two players compete to see who will finish with the most total bases.
For sports like tennis, though, the prop menu is limited. In a Wimbledon match, for instance, there were just a few game props like “Lose First Set and Win Match.”
Futures
LetsBetMD is slow on the draw when it comes to releasing futures. When I tested the site in July, they had still not rolled out the odds for the upcoming NBA Championship.
Their futures selection is also barebones. You’ll see staples like World Series and conference winner odds, but not much beyond those basics.
It’s a similar case in other sports. In tennis, for example, they offered odds on the Wimbledon winner but skipped deeper markets, such as who would hit the most aces or other tournament props beyond the outright champion.

I’d say LetsBetMD’s in-play betting program is stronger than what they offer pre-match. The live betting lineup covers everything you’ll find pre-game, plus some unique play-by-play bets like predicting the winner of the next set or micro betting options like who takes the next game or point in tennis.
I wish the layout for these bets were more user-friendly. Currently, there are 3 main categories: primary, spreads, and totals. However, once you click on them, they branch out and require a significant amount of scrolling to reach your desired destination.
There’s no live streaming, but they do include a stats chart and a play-by-play tracker that provides a fairly accurate read on what’s happening.
Sports coverage for live betting isn’t super wide. On any given day, you’ll see 3 to 5 sports available, mostly big ones like soccer, basketball, and tennis.
