How Our Sure Bet Finder Works
To find sure bets, we monitor lines from online sportsbooks to spot current opportunities. We check the odds every minute to ensure that the most up-to-date sure bets are available as soon as they appear.
When the odds on both sides of a bet add up to a positive number, it means you've found a sure bet that provides a guaranteed profit if you bet both sides of a two-way bet. Bet 1 and Bet 2 represent the two sides required for proceeding with the sure bet listed in the table above.
Sure bets are a form of arbitrage betting, so if you see anything related to that, it means the same thing.

Below, you can find an explanation of what each column in our Sure Bets Finder tool displays. This information helps you quickly identify which bets to place and what return to expect.
- Event: The game, league, date, and time
- Bet 1: The sportsbook, line, and odds for the first bet
- Bet 2: The sportsbook, line, and odds for the second bet
- ROI: The return on investment when you bet the ideal amounts
You can also switch between Pre-Game and Live with the toggles at the top of the tool. Live sure bets are more common, but they typically aren't available for long since odds change frequently.
You can also filter by league—like NFL, NBA, NCAAF, NCAAB, MLB, NHL, Soccer, and more—and by state to show only sure bets available at sportsbooks in your location.

How Sure Betting Works
Sure betting is the only guaranteed way to win money in sports betting. Since different bookmakers offer different odds on the same event, these discrepancies create an advantage that allows you to win regardless of how the game settles. This is a textbook example of arbitrage, where profits come from pricing inefficiencies between sportsbooks.
You know you found a sure bet if the odds on both sides add up to a positive number (using American odds).
The problem most bettors run into is that sure bets can be hard to find. That's why we created our sure betting tool to make it as easy as opening this page (Pro tip: bookmark it to make accessing it easier).

Examples of Sure Bets
If you’re new to sure betting, the following example can help explain the process.
Two bookies offer different moneyline odds for an NFL game between the Eagles and Lions. One sportsbook shows:
- Eagles: +120
- Lions: -130
The other sportsbook shows:
- Eagles: +110
- Lions: -110
By placing bets on both teams at different sportsbooks, you secure a profit of 2.2% of your total bet amount. The exact winnings will vary depending on the odds at each sportsbook, but the profit margin remains fixed once both bets are placed.
