About Odds Assist
We created Odds Assist in 2021 to help sports bettors across the United States make the best decisions when it comes to sports betting. We offer in-depth sportsbook reviews, calculators, state-specific guides, and more—all completely for free.
As more and more states continue to legalize sports betting across the U.S., we strive to stay on top of this growing industry to highlight the best sportsbooks and promotions currently available, provide detailed information about the legality of sports betting in states, and create tools to assist you with the ever-growing list of markets and types of bets available.
All of our editorial ratings and reviews are completely unbiased and unaffected by any compensation we may receive from sportsbooks. You can learn more about how we make money and see our current partners here.
We use thousands of data points to rate sportsbooks and identify which categories each sportsbook excels and falls short in. You can learn more about our editorial ratings process here.

A Note From Our Founder: Dave Rathmanner
When legal sports betting came to New Jersey in 2018, figuring out which sportsbooks to use and learning the ins and outs of sports betting proved to be very difficult. I created Odds Assist to help new bettors who find themselves in the same situation that I did years ago.
Aside from creating new content for OA readers, I am passionate about researching betting markets, creating models, and developing profitable betting strategies—many of which I explain on this site.
I'm thrilled that you've made it to my site and I hope you find it useful!
