Intro Promo

Caesars offers new customers first bet insurance up to $1,250

Caesars runs some of the most popular casinos and sportsbooks in the United States with locations throughout the nation.

Just a few months after acquiring William Hill in 2021, Caesars launched a new and very improved sportsbook that instantly became one of the best in the U.S. It is one of our highest-rated sportsbooks out of the 20+ we have reviewed and analyzed.

It has great odds, competitive promotions and odds boosts, and is easy to use. Caesars also offers all major bet types, including same game parlays, and countless sports and leagues.

One of the best thing about the new Caesars Sportsbook is the intro promo for new customers—first bet insurance up to $1,250. If your first bet loses, Caesars will give you a bet credit of equal value.

This Caesars Sportsbook review will go everything you need to know about the new-and-improved book, including the intro promo, pros and cons, the user experience, competitiveness of odds, and much more to help you decide if Caesars is the right online sportsbook for you.

Caesars Sportsbook Quick Review

Caesars is one of our highest-rated sportsbooks. It offers one of the best intro promos currently available (only trailing the PointsBet promo). The first bet insurance up to $1,250 is slightly more valuable than the many sportsbooks that offer $1,000 bet credits.

Caesars also offers a clean user interface on both its website and mobile apps that is easy to navigate as well as a wide variety of deposit and withdrawal options.

You can find all of the promotions and odds boosts that have come to be expected from the leading online sportsbooks like Caesars.

There isn't much not to like with the Caesars Sportsbook. While I personally prefer the user interface of FanDuel and BetMGM more, the intro promo is more valuable and it's clear Caesars is committed to delivering the best product available for customers.

Pros & Cons

Caesars Sportsbook Intro Promo

New users of the Caesars Sportsbook are eligible for first bet insurance up to $1,250. Use the promo code CZR to receive the welcome bonus.

Here's how it works:

  1. Register and make your first deposit.
  2. Within 30 days of opening your account, place your first bet via the mobile app or website.
  3. If your bet settles as a win, congrats! You can withdraw your winnings immediately. If your first bet settles as a loss, you will receive a first bet insurance of equal value up to $1,250.
  4. You have 14 days to use your bet credit, if you receive one.
  5. If you win your bet credit, profits from the bet (not including the amount wagered) will be available for withdrawal.

Caesars Sportsbook currently offers one of the best intro promo off all online sportsbooks in the U.S.

While many sportsbooks offer bet credits, Caesars' is the most valuable, other than PointsBet.

Another thing to like about the Caesars Sportsbook intro promo is the 1x rollover requirement. This means that if you win the bet credit, you can immediately withdraw the winnings from it. This is much better than the sportsbooks that require you to bet bonus funds 2x, 5x, 10x, or even more before withdrawing them.

Be sure to place your first bet within 30 days of opening your account and to use the bet credit within 30 days of it entering your account or else you will forfeit them.

Ready to sign up for the Caesars Sportsbook? Access the intro promo here.

Caesars Sportsbook Odds Competitiveness

Caesars offers pretty good odds relative to other sportsbooks.

You can expect to see a lot of the standard -110 odds on spread and total bets, as well as competitive moneyline odds. You can learn more about how to read betting odds here.

We always recommend using at least a few sportsbooks so you can shop around for the best odds. This doesn't take much time but is important to become a profitable sports bettor over time.

Caesars Sportsbook Odds Boosts, Promotions, & Rewards Program

Aside from the intro bonus for new customers, Caesars offers a large variety of odds boosts and promotions to help you win more money.

Here are some examples of promotions that Caesars has run in the past:

  • Profit Boosts. Boost your profits by 100% on a game of your choosing.
  • NFL Jersey Giveaway. Bet $100 on the NFL in September 2021 and receive a free NFL jersey of your choosing.
  • Super Bowl LVI Royal Giveaway. Earn an entry in a giveaway of Super Bowl LVI tickets plus a two-night stay at Caesars in Las Vegas and a private jet to the game for every $10 you make on NFL markets.
  • Dinger Tuesdays. Place a $50 straight bet on a baseball game and earn a $25 bet credit for each homerun your team hits.
  • First Half Feast. Place a $25+ straight bet on the first half point spread in the Rams vs Seahawks game on 10/7 and receive $1 for every point your team scores.

Caesars also offers 50+ odds boosts (simply called “Boosts”) every day. With these, you receive better odds on select markets that Caesars chooses. Most have a max bet of $100 which is higher than many other books.

Finally, there is a rewards program—called Caesars Rewards—that allows you to earn credits through casino and sportsbook wagers as well as money spent on Caesars hotels, dining, shopping, experiences, and more.

With sports betting, specifically, you earn 1 Reward Credit for every $5 of potential profit on bets placed (max 10 times original amount stake). You can redeem rewards for bet credits, hotel stays, dining, spas, show tickets, and more.

Types of Bets the Caesars Sportsbook Accepts

Like most sportsbooks, the Caesars Sportsbook offers a variety of sports bet types:

Caesars offers numerous player and game props on all major leagues—on part with all of the other top sportsbooks.

Live betting

The Caesars Online Sportsbook offers live betting on most sports including football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, and more. To see games currently in action, hit the “Live” button in the top menu of the website or in the bottom menu of the app.

You can also cash out of bets early if you'd like.

Same game parlays

Same game parlays” have gained a lot of popularity over the past few years after sportsbooks like FanDuel started offering them. With these, you can parlay multiple wagers from a single, typically including sides, totals, player props, and game props.

Fortunately, the Caesars Sportsbook DOES offer same game parlays.

After integrating with William Hill, Caesars introduced same game parlays. When you click into games in major sports/leagues, you'll see a Same Game Parlay tab where you can build your parlay.

Signing Up for the Caesars Sportsbook

You don’t have to be a resident of  a state where Caesars operates to sign up, but you must be located in one of the states to place bets. The only other restriction is that you must be at least 18 or 21 years old depending on the state.

To sign up for an account, you’ll have to fill out some basic information including:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Date of birth
  • Cell phone number
  • Password
  • Security questions
  • Last 4 digits of SSN
  • Address

After filling out this information, you may be asked to upload a government-issued ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) to verify your identity.

The whole process is quick and easy and should only take a few minutes. You can get an idea of what the registration screen looks like in the following mobile app screenshots (click to expand):

Caesars Sportsbook App & Website Experience

You can bet with the Caesars Sportsbook through its mobile app or website. There is one mobile app for each state where it operates. Note that the URL of the Caesars Sportsbook may say William Hill.

The app or website will verify your location to ensure you are located in a state where Caesars operates. You may be required to download an application to your computer to help verify your location or grant the website/mobile app access to your location.

You don't have to be a resident of a state where Caesars operates to place your bets; you just have to be physically located there when betting.

User Experience

The Caesars Sportsbook has a clean design that is easy to navigate on both the mobile app and website.

Caesars uses a variety of menus to help you find the sports and markets you are looking for. You can also quickly access your active and settled wagers, live games you can bet on, and current promotions and odds boosts.

Once you make a selection, it will be added to your betslip that you can access in the bottom center of the mobile apps or the right side of the website. If you want to build a parlay, teaser, or round robin bet, simply add more than one selection to your bet slip and the options for those will appear.

Overall, the Caesars Sportsbook provides a great user experience. It is easy to find what you're looking for, especially with the team logos that you'll see for the most popular sports.

While it's not my absolute favorite design, I have no problems using it and it's fast and responsive.

Here are some screenshots of the mobile app and website so you can get a better idea of what they're like (click the pictures to expand):

Stability

In my experience using the Caesars Sportsbook app, I haven't ran into any major issues with it crashing, not being able to log in, or any other stability issues.

I have, however, seen a few customer complaints about bets not going through and the app/website being buggy at times.

Caesars Sportsbook Customer Reviews

As of the time of this writing, the Caesars Sportsbook app has an average rating of 4.6 from over 7.8k reviews in the Apple App Store.

The reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with many customers praising Caesars' promotions, wide variety of markets, and easy-to-use app.

While there aren't many negative reviews, here are the most common complaints I've found:

  • Poor customer service (unresponsive & unhelpful)
  • Trouble placing bets
  • Trouble withdrawing money

Caesars Sportsbook Educational & Responsible Gaming Resources

Like any form of gambling, there is always a risk of losing your money when sports betting—especially if you don't fully understand how it works. In addition, gambling addiction is a serious problem that is easier to fall into than most people realize.

For that reason, when rating sportsbooks, I considered what kind of educational resources they provide and what responsible gaming resources and limits they have in place.

Educational resources

Caesars offers more extensive betting guides than a lot of other sportsbooks, starting with the How to Bet Guide that goes over how each type of bet works and has a glossary of almost every popular sports betting term.

On top of that guide, Caesars offers sport-specific betting guides for football, basketball, baseball, soccer, horse racing, auto racing, boxing/MMA, and hockey.

On the downside, Caesars doesn’t offer any player or team statistics in the app or on the website. Other books show historical statistics for games and players to help players make more educated decisions when betting. If this is something you rely on when betting, you may want to look elsewhere or find a third-party site.

Responsible gaming resources & limits

There is a “Responsible Gaming” button/icon towards the bottom of the Caesars Sportsbook website and app that opens up the very extensive Responsible Gaming guide.

This goes over how you can gamble responsibly, the risks of gambling, warning signs that you might have a problem, and much more.

It also goes over the limits Caesars offers to customers so they can make sure they are gambling responsibly, including:

  • Playing time limit. Limits the total amount of time you can spend on the website or app in a single day.
  • Deposit limit. Limits how much you can deposit to your account in a period of time.
  • Spend limit. Limits how much you can wager in a period of time.
  • Cool off time limit. Allows you to take a break from your account for 3 to 30 days.
If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, you can also call 1-800-GAMBLER to get help. You can also check out our Responsible Gaming Guide.

Caesars Online Sportsbook Alternatives

Despite Caesars being one of our top-rated sportsbooks, there may be some better options for you depending on what you are looking for.

Here are some options you may want to check out depending on what you value:

  • If you want a better overall sportsbook: FanDuel
  • If you want a better intro promo: PointsBet
  • Another great option to consider: BetMGM
