Betr Picks is one of the newer DFS apps after launching in July 2023, but it is already available in 24 states and Washington D.C.
The minimum age to register and play is 19+ in Alabama and Colorado, 21+ in Arizona, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Virginia and 18+ in all other states where Betr Picks operates.
Despite a strong start, Betr isn't done yet. They are consistently adding new states to the mix.
Unlike other DFS apps, you are unable to access most sections of the Betr app unless you're physically located in a state where Betr operates.
With apps like PrizePicks and Underdog, you can still see what games and players are available, even if you're not in a state where they operate (you can't place entries, however). With Betr, you can download and open the app, but eventually, you'll keep getting a popup that says you're not in a valid location.
