Betr Picks is one of the newer DFS apps after just launching in July 2023 but it is already available in 23 states and Washington D.C.
Despite a strong start, Betr isn't done yet. They plan to be available to over 50% of the U.S. adult population by the end of 2024.
Unlike other DFS apps, you are unable to access most sections of the Betr app unless you're physically located in a state where Betr operates.
With apps like PrizePicks and Underdog, you can still see what games and players are available, even if you're not in a state where they operate (you can't place entries, however). With Betr, you can download and open the app, but eventually, you'll keep getting a popup that says you're not in a valid location.
