List of Indiana Sportsbooks

Indiana legalized sports betting on May 8, 2019, when Gov. Eric Holcomb signed House Bill 1015. Retail sports betting went live in Hoosier State on September 1, 2019, and online and mobile sports betting followed on October 3, 2019.

Currently, Indiana hosts 12 betting sites. My top picks for the best sportsbooks in Indiana are FanDuel, Caesars, and bet365. I also keep BetMGM, BetRivers, and Fanatics in rotation to ensure I get the best lines and promotions.

This guide provides a quick overview of each sportsbook in Indiana, making it easier for you to make informed decisions on where to bet.

List of All Indiana Sportsbooks

Each casino or retail sportsbook in Indiana can have up to three online partners, which means there could be up to 48 online sportsbooks. However, the state has never had more than 17 active at once. After Betway closed in July 2024, there are now 11 online sportsbooks, plus an additional betting platform that only takes wagers on horse racing.

Retail sports betting in Indiana started a month before mobile betting, resulting in sportsbook-themed restaurants popping up in big cities like Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. Before 2019, casinos had to be on riverboats or horse tracks, so these cities had no gambling options. With Marion and Allen Counties holding 20% of the state’s population, these new spots were key for sports betting until online options arrived.

Here’s the complete list of online sportsbooks in Indiana, along with their best features:

  1. FanDuel: Best Overall Sportsbook in Indiana
  2. Caesars: Best Loyalty Program at Indiana Sportsbooks
  3. bet365: Best Game Props at Indiana Betting Sites
  4. BetMGM: Best Promotions at Indiana Sportsbook
  5. DraftKings: Best Betting Site in Indiana for Props Betting
  6. BetRivers: Best Soccer Odds at Indiana Sportsbooks
  7. Fanatics: Best Cashback Program at IN Sportsbooks
  8. ESPN BET: Best Sportsbook in Indiana for NFL Betting
  9. Hard Rock: Indiana Sportsbook With Fast Payouts
  10. BallyBet: Indiana Sportsbook With Good User Experience
  11. SBK Sportsbook: Indiana Sportsbook With Responsive Support

1) FanDuel: Best Overall Sportsbook in Indiana

fanduel sportsbook logo

FanDuel Sportsbook launched in Indiana on October 22, 2019, partnering with Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City and Belterra Casino in Florence. Both of these casinos feature FanDuel-branded retail sportsbooks. FanDuel is also the official betting partner of the WNBA’s Indiana Fever.

FanDuel is the best sportsbook in Indiana, bar none. When I evaluate a sportsbook, I look for three key things: are the bets I want available, are the odds competitive, and do the app and website run smoothly? FanDuel consistently nails all three.

One thing I really like about FanDuel is its market variety. If you're looking to bet on the Indianapolis Colts, you can find NFL lines for next week’s games by Sunday night. You’ll see the spread and total for the Colts and other NFL games, along with prop bets early in the week. FanDuel also covers a wide range of niche sports, even down to water polo.

However, FanDuel isn’t perfect. When I bet on the Colts, I stick to regular spread bets and avoid teasers. FanDuel’s teaser odds are one of its few weak spots, with lines in the -130 to -135 range for a two-team, six-point teaser. It's hard to make a profit with those odds, so if I need a few extra points for a Colts bet, I usually head to BetRivers for better teaser options.

FanDuel Sportsbook Quick Facts:

  • OA BetReview Rating: 94/100
  • Sign-Up Bonus: Bet $5, Get $100 Bonus If Your Bet Wins
  • Best Features: Odds competitiveness, market variety
  • Biggest Drawbacks: No sportsbook rewards program, not many daily odds boosts
  • Number of Sports: 21+
  • Payout Speed: Up to 5 business days (typically faster)
  • Rewards Program: DFS & Casino only

2) Caesars: Best Loyalty Program at Indiana Sportsbooks

Caesars Sportsbook Logo

Caesars Sportsbook joined the Indiana market a bit late but quickly caught up. They've partnered with Horseshoe Casino Hammond and run retail sportsbooks at Harrah’s Hoosier Park and Indiana Grand Casino. Caesars Sportsbook also locked in partnerships with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indianapolis Colts.

The Caesars loyalty program is a big selling point in Indiana because Caesars has a strong presence in the state. The two closest casinos to Indianapolis—Hoosier Park and Indiana Grand Casino—are both Caesars properties, so you can use your loyalty points at both venues. When you rack up points from online sports betting, you can redeem them in Shelbyville for free play on the craps table and a discounted meal at Jack Binion’s Steak.

The Caesars app is well-designed and runs smoothly. I rarely experience any lag when switching between football, basketball, and hockey to place my bets. Finding the sport I want is quick and easy.

However, while the platform is fast, getting paid can be slow. Caesars can be slower with withdrawals compared to FanDuel or BetMGM. So, be prepared to wait a bit for your winnings.

Caesars Quick Facts:

  • OA BetReview Rating: 93/100
  • Sign-Up Bonus: First Bet Match up to $250
  • Best Features: Loyalty program, user-friendly UX
  • Biggest Drawbacks: Slower payout speeds, sluggish customer service
  • Number of Sports: 23+
  • Payout Speed: Up to 72 hours
  • Rewards Program: Caesars Rewards

Check out my Caesars Sportsbook review for a more in-depth look at the platform.

3) bet365: Best Game Props at Indiana Betting Sites

bet365 logo

Bet365 is the newest sportsbook in Indiana, launching on January 30, 2024. It’s partnered with French Lick Casino but doesn’t operate a retail sportsbook.

What really sets Bet365 apart is its awesome selection of game props. If you're into college prop bets, this is the place to be. While individual college prop bets aren’t legal in Indiana, team props are. Bet365 excels in this area with bets like “Both teams to score X points,” “Team With the Highest Scoring Quarter,” and “Team to Score Over/Under Their Total.” They’ve made a big name for themselves in NFL and NBA team props, and these bets work great for college games too.

If you don’t see a college team prop for the game you want, just hit up Bet365 and request it. They’ll set the odds for you, and you can place your bet. This feature is available for every sport Bet365 offers, so you always have plenty of betting options.

On the downside, if you get on a hot streak, you might find your betting limits reduced. Bet365 isn’t the worst for limiting winners in Indiana, but it can still happen. If you’re a high roller, it’s wise to spread your bets across a few different sportsbooks to keep things balanced.

bet365 Quick Facts:

  • OA BetReview Rating: 89/100
  • Sign-Up Bonus: $1,000 First bet safety net or bet $5, get $200 in bonus bets
  • Best Features: Auto Cash Out, insane number of odds boosts, early payout promos
  • Biggest Drawbacks: Subpar prop odds, no sportsbook rewards program
  • Number of Sports: 26+
  • Payout Speed: Up to 24 hours
  • Rewards Program: None

4) BetMGM: Best Promotions at Indiana Sportsbook

betmgm sportsbook logo

BetMGM joined the second wave of sportsbooks in Indiana, launching on February 27, 2020. They’re partnered with Belterra Casino but don’t have a retail sportsbook.

Launching just two weeks before the pandemic, BetMGM had to rely on promotions to draw in bettors. They still offer some of the best promos in Indiana. When the Colts and Pacers play on the same day, you’ll often find boosted odds for both teams to win.

BetMGM is my go-to for golf bets in Indiana. During the summer, when I bet on a golfer in a weekly tournament, I always use BetMGM because they pay out ties in full. If you bet on a golfer to finish in the top 20 at other sportsbooks and they finish in a five-way tie for 20th, you only get 1/5 of your winnings. BetMGM doesn’t do that. They pay you as if your golfer finished 20th alone.

However, for moneyline bets on local teams, you might want to shop around. BetMGM is excellent for spread and totals bets, but their moneyline odds aren’t always the best. It’s always smart to compare with other books, especially when placing a moneyline bet.

BetMGM Quick Facts:

  • OA BetReview Rating: 84/100
  • Sign-Up Bonus: Up to $1,500 in bonus bets
  • Best Features: Edit My Bet, NFL rewards
  • Biggest Drawbacks: Quickly limits sharps, UX can be a bit buggy
  • Number of Sports: 19+
  • Payout Speed: Up to 24 hours
  • Rewards Program: MGM Rewards

Check out my BetMGM Sportsbook review for a more in-depth look at the platform.

5) DraftKings: Best Betting Site In Indiana For Props Betting

draftkings logo

DraftKings hit the ground running as one of the first mobile sportsbook operators in Indiana, launching on October 3, 2019. They've teamed up with Ameristar Casino East Chicago and have partnerships with both the Indiana Pacers and the Chicago Cubs, who enjoy a strong fanbase in northern Indiana.

DraftKings excels when it comes to NFL props and props in general. They have a massive selection of prop bets for every sport, from standard game props to unique ones. If you’re looking for head-to-head prop bets for Indiana Pacers games, DraftKings has you covered. They’re also usually one of the first to post their prop bets, giving bettors plenty of time to weigh up their picks and score early value.

When I play prop bets, I want access to stats, and DraftKings makes sure I have all the info I need. Their stats hub is loaded with data, making it easy to analyze prop plays and decide where to put my money. It’s a great tool for finding value without wasting time.

That said, DraftKings pushes parlays a bit too much. While parlays are popular with casual bettors, they're not the best way to make money. I get that DraftKings wants to make parlays easy to play because they're profitable for them, but they take up too much space on the app.

DraftKings Sportsbook Quick Facts:

  • OA BetReview Rating: 84/100
  • Sign-Up Bonus: Bet $5, get $300 in bonus bets + $200 off NFL Sunday Ticket
  • Best Features: Market depth, profit boost tokens
  • Biggest Drawbacks: Odds not always competitive, quickly limit winners
  • Number of Sports: 25+
  • Payout Speed: Up to 5 business days
  • Rewards Program: Dynasty Rewards

Check out my full DraftKings Sportsbook review for a more in-depth look at the platform.

6) BetRivers: Best Soccer Odds at Indiana Sportsbooks

betrivers sportsbook logo

BetRivers Sportsbook was one of the first to launch in Indiana, going live on October 3, 2019. They’ve partnered with French Lick Resort and are also linked up with Indy Eleven of the USL.

BetRivers offers the best soccer odds in the Hoosier State. They offer live betting on MLS, USL, and NWSL, along with betting options for obscure leagues like Finland’s Veikkausliiga.

Another thing I like about BetRivers is the value they offer on NFL teasers. When you tease two games here, BetRivers calculates the individual odds instead of giving you a set price. This often results in better odds than the -125 you’d get at DraftKings or the -140 at FanDuel.

However, I could do without the pop-ups that come when I log into the app. BetRivers loves to promote their deals, so every time you log in, you get a pop-up about a new odds boost or special event. While it’s nice to be up to speed on these promos, having to close them every time before finding what you want can be a hassle.

BetRivers Quick Facts:

  • OA BetReview Rating: 82/100
  • Sign-Up Bonus: Second chance bet up to $500 depending on state
  • Best Features: Fast payouts, competitive teaser and soccer odds
  • Biggest Drawbacks: Functionality issues, limits successful bettors quickly
  • Number of Sports: 29+
  • Payout Speed: Up to 5 business days (usually within a day)
  • Rewards Program: iRush Rewards

Check out my BetRivers Sportsbook review for a more in-depth look at the platform.

7) Fanatics Sportsbook: Best Cashback Program at Indiana Sportsbooks

fanatics sportsbook logo

Fanatics is technically new to Indiana sports betting, but it’s really just a re-skin of PointsBet Sportsbook. PointsBet originally launched in Indiana on March 3, 2020, partnering with the Indiana Pacers. After Fanatics acquired PointsBet, it re-launched as Fanatics on February 27, 2024, and is now partnered with Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg.

After the rebrand, Fanatics has ramped up PointsBet’s cashback program. Before, PointsBet gave cash back on every bet and increased the percentage for parlays. Now, with the FanCash program, you can turn those rewards into bonus bets or Fanatics merchandise. Single bets earn 1% cash back, parlays get 3%, and same-game parlays score 5%. If you bet regularly, you’ll quickly rack up rewards you can use for bet credits or some cool team gear.

Fanatics offers some of the most competitive odds in Indiana, second only to FanDuel. They also have cool features like partial cash outs, which you don’t see too often.

That said, the switch to Fanatics has made the app a bit clunky. The bet slip takes up too much screen space, making it easy to accidentally tap something and slow down your betting. Since Fanatics is now available on mobile apps, this can be pretty frustrating.

Fanatics Sportsbook Quick Facts:

  • OA BetReview Rating: 81/100
  • Sign-Up Bonus: Bet & Get Up to $2k in FanCash
  • Best Features: Valuable sign-up bonus, competitive prop odds
  • Biggest Drawbacks: Confusing interface, no desktop site, quick to limit winners
  • Number of Sports: 15
  • Payout Speed: Up to 3 business days
  • Rewards Program: FanCash Rewards

8) ESPN BET: Best Cashback Program at Indiana Sportsbooks

espn bet logo

ESPN BET entered the Indiana sports betting scene as Barstool Sportsbook on May 14, 2021. After partnering with ESPN, Penn National Gaming rebranded Barstool to ESPN BET, relaunching it in Indiana on November 14, 2023. They kept the partnership with Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg, but the retail sportsbook didn’t switch to ESPN branding.

The Worldwide Leader in Sports has always been big on the NFL, and it shows with their top-quality NFL betting options. ESPN BET was the first to offer a “No” option on a player to score a touchdown, adding a new twist to football prop betting. They also have very competitive odds on spreads, totals, and moneylines for football Sundays. Even if props aren’t your thing, ESPN BET is worth checking out for NFL action.

ESPN BET has a great live betting platform. You’ll find a great live streaming coverage along with live same-game parlays in several different sports.

However, the user experience needs improvement. Barstool’s interface had its flaws, and ESPN BET hasn’t resolved most of them. The site operates slower than other sportsbooks, and the layout is awkward, making it hard to find your bets quickly.

theScore Bet Quick Facts:

  • OA BetReview Rating: 73/100
  • Sign-Up Bonus: Bet $10, get $100 in bonus bets if you win
  • Best Features: Sports variety, competitive pre-game odds
  • Biggest Drawbacks: Subpar user experience, not many features
  • Number of Sports: 20+
  • Payout Speed: 1 to 5 banking days
  • Rewards Program: PENN Play Program

9) Hard Rock Bet: Indiana Sportsbook With Fast Payouts

hard rock sportsbook logo

Hard Rock Bet launched in Indiana on September 6, 2022, partnering with Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana in Gary. They also run a retail sportsbook at their flagship property in the state.

One of Hard Rock Bet's biggest selling points is its withdrawal speed. Whenever I cash out, the money hits my bank account in less than 48 hours. From what I’ve read online, other users also receive their winnings quickly.

Hard Rock Bet odds boosts give bettors a real edge. The Super Overdrive Boost is a standout, quickly turning favorites into plus-money bets. This boost makes betting on top teams like Purdue basketball especially attractive.

However, I usually avoid betting totals at Hard Rock unless they get the Super Overdrive Boost. They often offer 30-cent lines (or worse), whereas most other books would offer 20-cent (-110 on both sides). I don't want to see -115 or -120 on totals plays for anything but soccer, and that happens too often here.

Hard Rock Bet Quick Facts:

  • OA BetReview Rating: 71/100
  • Sign-Up Bonus: 2x Winnings on First 10 Bets
  • Best Features: Flex Parlay, Fast Payouts
  • Biggest Drawbacks: Subpar odds for totals, functionality quirks
  • Number of Sports: 16+
  • Payout Speed: Up to 48 hours
  • Rewards Program: Loyalty Rewards

10) Bally Bet: Indiana Sportsbook With Good User Experience

bally bet logo

Bally Bet first launched in Indiana on September 28, 2021, but pulled out in 2023 to overhaul its interface. It came back on November 10, 2023, and since then, it's been getting great reviews for the revamped platform.

11) SBK Sportsbook: Indiana Sportsbook With Responsive Support

SBK Logo

SBK Sportsbook launched on March 10, 2022, partnering with Rising Sun’s Rising Star Casino Resort. It’s known for displaying odds from other sportsbooks along with its own, and its support team is highly rated among users.
