FOX Bet Sportsbook Quick Review
FOX Bet is a solid option for sports bettors in eligible states. While it isn't necessarily the “best” in any one category, it is at least average or better in most of them, making it a well-rounded sportsbook that's worth your consideration.
FOX Bet offers a competitive intro promo, attractive odds boosts and other promotions, a smooth user experience, and an easy deposit and withdrawal process.
On the downside, FOX Bet only has slightly worse odds relative to many other sportsbooks and it doesn't offer same game parlays. In addition, there are no player or team statistics available in the sportsbook.

Here’s how it works:

FOX Bet Odds Competitiveness
FOX Bet is a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to odds competitiveness. Whereas some sports have the standard -110 odds on spread and total bets, others have odds that are -111, -112, or even worse.
With that being said, it's smart to use at least a few sportsbooks so you can shop around for the best odds. This doesn't take much time but is important to become a profitable sports bettor over time.
FOX Bet Odds Boosts & Promos
Aside from the intro bonus for new customers, FOX Bet also regularly offers a variety of promotions and odds boosts that can help you win even more money. Here is a quick overview of each:
Odds Boosts
FOX Bet offers anywhere from 3 to over 20 odds boosts (called “Bet Boost”) for most major sports on any given day. I've found odds to be boosted around 18%, on average, which is pretty good compared to other sportsbooks.
Game lines, game props, and player props are all regularly boosted in the FOX Bet app and website.
Unlike most alternatives, FOX Bet organizes their odds boosts by sport instead of just having a single page that displays all odds boosts.
This makes it easy for people who prefer to bet on a single sport or only a few, but isn't ideal for people who bet a variety of sports. The latter group would have to go through each sport to see and compare odds boosts instead of just being able to see them in one spot.

Same game parlays
“Same game parlays” have gained a lot of popularity over the past few years after sportsbooks like FanDuel started offering them.
With these, you can parlay multiple bets from the same game into a single parlay. For example, you could bet on the Eagles +6.5, Over 44.5 in the Eagles game, and Miles Sanders to rush for over 84.5 yards in a single parlay.
FOX Bet DOES offer same game parlays, but they are all pre-configured. For example, instead of choosing the Bucks to cover or not, the game to go over or under, and Giannis to score over 28.5 points, FOX Bet has pre-made same game parlays—you can't customize them.
Signing Up for FOX Bet
You don’t have to be a resident of one of the states where FOX Bet operates to sign up for the sportsbook, but you must be located in one of the states to place bets. The only other restriction is that you must be at least 21 years old.
To sign up for an account, you’ll have to fill out some basic information including:

FOX Bet App & Website Experience
You can bet with FOX Bet through its website or mobile apps (iOS & Android). The app/website will verify your location to ensure you are located in a state where FOX Bet operates online. You may be required to download an application to your computer to help verify your location or grant the website/mobile app access to your location.
FOX Bet has a single website but each state uses a different subdomain. New Jersey, for example, is nj.foxbet.com while Colorado is co.foxbet.com.
There is also just one app called FOX Bet Sportsbook & Casino for all states. This is makes it easy to bet through FOX Bet if you travel between states where it operates. Other sportsbooks make you download separate apps for different states.
Note that you don't have to be a resident of any specific state to be eligible to bet; you just must be physically located in a state where FOX Bet is allowed.
User Experience
Overall, FOX Bet provides a good user experience that is better than most other options. We rated it as a 4 out of 5—or “above average”—relative to other books.
Both the app and website are easy to use and have no major issues.
Let's take a look at each:
FOX Bet Mobile App
The FOX Bet app is designed very similarly to other online sportsbook apps. There is a bit more color, differing font sizes, and team icons that can make it easier to find what you're looking for or overwhelming depending on your preferences.
Navigation
From the homepage, you'll notice a few different menus that can help you navigate to the section of the app you are looking for. Up top, you can quickly jump to the homepage, live games, promotions, and the most popular sports at the time.
There is also an all sports menu on the top right of the screen that shows all available markets. In addition, at the bottom of the screen, you can switch between the sportsbook, casino, rewards program, poker, and account.
Making selections
Once you get into a specific game, you'll notice a horizontal menu where you can see popular bets, all wagers, player props, boosted bets, game parlays, buy/sell points, and more.
I do really like the player props presentation. Props are grouped based on category such as player points, assists, etc. This makes it easy to compare props from player to player.
Betslip
Once you are ready to place your bets, you can hit the blue icon towards the top right of your screen. From there, enter the amount you want to wager and click the “Place bet” button.
This bet slip location is one thing I'm not a big fan of. I prefer having it in the bottom center of my screen (like most sportsbooks do). Also, the selections in the bet slip are pretty large, making you scroll down through it to get to the button to place your bets.
Custom bets
The last thing to note about the FOX Bet app is the #CUSTOMBET section. This part of the app shows bets that FOX Bet previously didn't offer that users tweeted at FOX Bet using the “#custombet” hashtag. If you don't see a wager that you'd like to place, you have a chance to get FOX Bet to add it to this section by tweeting at them.

FOX Bet Website
You'll notice that the FOX Bet Sportsbook website and mobile app are very similar. They have the same basic design including menu location, fonts and font styles, colors, and almost everything else.
Since there is more space to work with, the website is a bit less overwhelming, but that's generally true with most sportsbooks.
It is nice to have the bet slip always visible on the right side of the screen. This allows you to see how many games you've selected, their odds, the odds you would receive on a parlay, and more without having to constantly click into the bet slip.
As with the mobile app, the FOX Bet website has the same #CUSTOMBET section that shows user-requested wagers.

Stability
I've used the FOX Bet app and website since they first launched in 2019 and haven't run into any major issues with the app crashing, difficulties logging in, or anything else like that.
The only thing I've noticed (and is something that really isn't a big deal), is that when I first load the website or app, the content takes about 5 seconds or so to load. During that time, I just get a plain text menu and an error that says my browser is out of date.
I've found some reviews where customers complain about getting logged out after a short period of time. This can be annoying, especially if you are live betting games while watching them or trying to decide the right time to cash out.
FOX Bet's stability is supported by its good customer reviews. In the Apple App Store, for example, it is rated 4.5 stars from over 5,100 reviews.
