We hit both of our opening-line NFL picks last week, locking in some great value before the lines moved.

Sportsbooks started releasing lines for Week 5 shortly after the Sunday games concluded, and we've dug into them to find value that you should lock in now before lines move as we get closer to kickoff.

Let's see if we can keep things rolling with another perfect week.

Washington Commanders -6.5 vs. Chicago Bears – 8:15 pm ET (Thursday Night Football)

The Chicago Bears may be one of the worst teams in football. Last week they blew a 28-7 lead, falling to the same Denver Broncos team that allowed 70 points to the Dolphins the week before.

The Bears defense continues to be extremely problematic, they have allowed 25 or more points in 14 straight games. They have lost all 14 of those games.

The Commanders, meanwhile, come into this game off a tough 34-31 loss to the Eagles in overtime. Sam Howell played extremely well against a tough Eagles defense in the loss.

Now they get to come back home to face the Bears who will be traveling in on a short week.

This line was as low as -4.5 at one point and now we are getting very close to the key number of -7. This line won’t be coming back down. The Bears are a mess and on a short week on the road, take Commanders to win this one by at least a touchdown and grab the -6.5 while you still can.

Los Angeles Rams +4.5 vs. Philadelphia Eagles—4:05 pm ET

The Eagles head cross country off a hard-fought 34-31 overtime win against the Commanders last week.

They may be 4-0, but they most certainly do not look like a dominant team early in the season.

The Eagles struggled to get the ground game going this past Sunday, with their running backs getting just 70 yards on 18 carries.

The Eagles may have trouble getting the passing game going Sunday, the Rams allow just 184.8 yards through the air per game, good for 7th best in the league.

The Rams have been great at covering spreads recently, going 7-2-1 against the number in their last 10 games.

There is a chance Cooper Kupp could return from injury as well, which will give QB Matthew Stafford another weapon to work with on offense.

This line opened at Eagles -6 and has since been bet down to Eagles -4.5 despite most of the tickets and money coming in on the Eagles. Going to follow the move on this one and play the Rams +4.5.
