We hit both of our opening line picks last week, snagging both the Raiders -2.5 and the Bengals -2.5 before lines moved later in the week.

Let's see if we can keep it up this week with two more early picks for NFL Week 7.

Sportsbooks started releasing lines for Week 7 shortly after the Sunday games concluded, and we've dug into them to find value that you should lock in now before lines move as we get closer to kickoff.

You can see all of our current and historical NFL picks in our Best NFL Bets & Picks Guide. You can also compare NFL lines and odds by sportsbooks here.

Las Vegas Raiders -3 @ Chicago Bears – 1 pm ET

This line opened at Raiders -1.5 and quickly jumped to -3 on the news that it is unlikely Bears QB Justin Fields will play after suffering a dislocated thumb during the Bears loss to the Vikings last week.

The Bears will turn to Tyson Bagent as QB if Fields is unable to go. Bagent is a Division II college quarterback who prior to relieving Fields last week had never played a down in the NFL.

To say the least, his debut was underwhelming. He threw an interception and also had a fumble returned for a touchdown.

The Bears will also be without guard Nate Davis who suffered a high ankle sprain last week.

The Raiders appear to be righting the ship after a slow start to the season. They have won back-to-back games against the Packers and the Patriots.

The Bears defense while improving the past 2 weeks, still has not been consistent enough to think they can stop the Raiders offense even if QB Jimmy Garoppolo is sidelined with a back injury. The Raiders backup QB situation is much better than that of the Bears with either Brian Hoyer or Aidan O’Connell ready to step in.

As reality sets in the Bears will be without Fields, this line should easily move above the key number of 3, so grab the Raiders -3 now while it is still available.

Los Angeles Rams -3 vs Pittsburgh Steelers – 4:05 pm ET

The Rams have gotten off to a better-than-expected start to 2023 with a 3-3 record and an even better 4-1-1 ATS record.

They continue to improve offensively with their main weapon WR Cooper Kupp back in the lineup and healthy.

The Rams 3 losses have come against quality competition as they have dropped home games to the 49ers and Eagles, along with a tough road loss at Cincinnati.

The Steelers meanwhile are an overrated 3-2 team. They are 30th in yards per game picking up just 268.2 yards per game compared to the Rams who rank 8th in the league with 367 yards per game.

The Rams are also better defensively than the Steelers. The Rams allow 330.3 yards and 19.5 points per game compared to the Steelers who give up 389.4 yards and 22.5 points per game.

Laying -3 at home with the Rams is a good value and it wouldn’t surprise me if this one went higher come game time. So grab the Rams -3 now while you can. They are the better team on both sides on the ball and should win and cover Sunday afternoon.
